Build a national federation
Your country owns its identity infrastructure. eduID.africa provides tooling, governance templates, training, and T&I Roadshow support to help your NREN stand up a sovereign national federation, which then connects to the continental level.
Join the catchall federation
If your NREN isn't ready to run a national federation yet, your institutions can participate directly at the continental level. BonafID provides a cloud-hosted, open-source identity platform, no on-premise infrastructure required.
Check your institution
Search to see whether your university or research centre is connected to the federation, and what services that gives you access to, including eduroam, eduGAIN resources, and NREN platforms.
