How to connect your institution

Initial assessment
WACREN conducts a readiness assessment of your institution's current identity infrastructure and data systems. This scopes the BonafID deployment.
Data integration
BonafID's data extraction tools connect to your existing student information system, HR system, or LDAP. No manual data entry.
IdP deployment and testing
Your BonafID identity provider is deployed and tested against eduID.africa's federation metadata. WACREN's team supports remotely.
Federation registration
Your institution's IdP is registered in the federation. From this point, your users can access federated services and request geteduroam certificates.
Live: staff and students connected
Your institution appears in the coverage directory. Students and staff can download geteduroam and access eduGAIN resources immediately.
